Introduction:

The prevention and control of non-communicable diseases and injuries (NCDI) health project of Millennium Challenge Account-Mongolia (MCA-M) is aimed at increasing the longevity of Mongolians by reducing disability and death due to non-communicable diseases such as hypertension, myocardial infarction, stroke, type 2 diabetes, cervical and breast cancer and road traffic injuries, which are the leading causes of mortality and morbidity in Mongolia.

The NCDI project carries out activities aimed at early detection and prevention, introduction of international best practices in diagnosing and treatment, improving the accessibility and quality of health services and upgrading of emergency services for road traffic injuries.
