The vision of the Ministry of Health of Mongolia is to strive to ensure the availability, accessibility, affordability and equity of quality health care services for all Mongolians. Health care will be provided through a needs-based health system which will specifically address the health issues affecting vulnerable groups (particularly the poor), and regulate and enhance the health sector’s human resource capacity. The ultimate goal of the Ministry of Health is to promote social and economic development through poverty alleviation.
Objectives
In regard to the implementation of health policy goals as outlined in the Government Action Plan Program (which was ratified by the Parliament of Mongolia through Act No. 35, on 21 November 2008), and as per the agreement made between the Minister of Health and the Governor, the following objectives will be carried out in 2009-2012.
